I've been working on the "Blanket of Doom" and got the borders done and now I'm at the 4 corners. Here is a pic of Mel on his blanket as set on our living room floor. Hits huge and awesome.

I'm doing granny squares using Forest Chains with extra borders to fit the space. I have just enough of the green left over from the main body to put in the center of the squares. I did this pattern once before and I had some issues with it but I think I need to just put stitch markers in as noted. Follow the directions? Really? LOL.

Watched the Nat Geo Viking Warrior Women and it was super disappointing. Ugh. I could do a better documentary out of my library with a few books from the U of A.

I'm still working on reading the second Kane Chronicles book. I'm enjoying it but I've been staying up watching things on the long weekend and not reading.

We have 3 days of work this week and 3 days off. Next week will be a 5 day work week. I cry.

I've also now stepped down as Kingdom Signet and Sam has taken over. I'm still a deputy for the next year and that is just fine.
