Well, its finally friday. Gads has it been a long week. I'm not even sure what I have to show for it. My projects at work are stalled and the paperwork is very dry. Gah.

Had a nice dinner out with Asa, Ed and the Holly. She was uber cute. We went to a Buddy's Grill on houghton and it was nice. Good food, nice beer selection etc. I had two beers (yeah, that was bad of me but its been a week) and I was tipsy when we left. Yeah, I'm a light weight now. Sighs. Eh, I can cope. I was working on Becca's Number 2 project and got that done minus some seaming before I went to bed last night. I hope to finish that and work on other gifties tonight. My Noro scraft needs a professional opinion. I'm not sure I knit well enough yet to manage with this yarn. I might frog it and start something for Mel dunno...getting critique on Ravelry and I'm gonna have ari look at it too.

Got meetings till late today which means I miss going to knitting happy hour and going to AAA to work on our anniversary trip. Oh, well. Monday hopefully I can work on that.

After that will be game night..though the house is a mess and most of it is the front table that I need to go through. Just hope today goes by quickly...I'm D-O-N-E.

Its the Noro Silk Garden and its seems...fuzzy. The pictures of the scarf do not make it look fuzzy...but I think I'm stitching too loose.

I think I should probably, even though the pattern for the striped scarf is uber simple, do a different one for mel before I tackle the noro. I've got lots of nice wool to use.

I'll take some pictures of it and post it in ravelry too so people can see.

Yup, I'm familiar with this stuff. So very pretty, but I haven't tried to knit with it yet. I'd definitely like to see the stitches in Ravelry, but I'm inclined to agree that they might be too loose. It could also be the needle you're using. If your gauge from naturally knitting is a bit looser than the one in the pattern, you may want to try a smaller needle. I had to play around with the needles for my shawl until I found a set that fit the pattern and the yarn I was using well.
