This was supposed to have been live tweeted but we had too much commentary between us all but first and foremost:

So, it is an awful movie. It has lots of triggers for people who have issues with 1) stalking, 2) rape, 3) non-consent!
This is the movie to show people what consent is NOT.
This is the movie to show people what a healthy relationship is NOT.
This is the movies to show people what BDSM is NOT!
This is a movie to show just how creepy the themes in Twilight really are…see above.

I’m pretty appalled by this film. We were all appalled by this film.

It was not sexy times, it was a big turn off, it was depressing and creepy and how one messed up guy could ruin a nice girl on sex in general.
I can’t believe they are making more of this crap. Sighs.
The public is DUMB!

ianuk: (don't wanna)
Work was a bit tiring. I'm waiting on people to do stuff or call me back and I really hate that. I did some documentation writing and that might be par for the course this week. Getting all of my outlines that are in my head into electronic form would be rather nice and months ahead of schedule. On the way home I was feeling kind of poorly. The tummy was cramping again and after thinking about it this morning on the drive in I think I'm a bit dehydrated. I didn't drink much but coffee on monday (bad me) and yesterday I only had just over a liter at work and coffee. So, I'm gonna push water and see...course it could also be that I had some yogurt that wasn't too good. Don't eat the stuff you find at the back of the fridge. Sighs.

So, when I got home, I laid down and listened to podcasts and then got laundry going and listened to more podcasts. By that point mel had woven 2 repeats on the loom and I had a piece of toast. Felt somewhat better with that and water but I kinda moped along. I got all of the beads sewn on to hammer #4 and started in on the red tambour. By the time practice rolled around I wasn't up for getting armored up and the storm hit the house. Guess practice got rained out so I shouldn't feel guilty. I sat on my but and watched tv and did embroidery until 930. I got all of the red tambour done and then started in on the white. My goal is to get these done by monday. We have a pretty relaxed schedule for the weekend and friday off so I think its doable and if I finish that I can start another project!!! Woot! I have startitis right now. I want to start something new to cut my boredom but I will persevere! So, I slept good last night and for once I'm tired but I don't think I need to sleep more.

So, I've been meaning to do some product reviews of things I've been trying of late, if you aren't interested don't click )

Also interesting to note, I got a response from Senator Jon Kyl about my recent letter to him about the excise tax on beer. He wrote me a very short but to the point letter on how he agrees with my stance and that of AHA/BA and will be fighting to get it out of the bill. I'll transcribe it but I was very touched to find that 1) he actually read my email and 2) he responded personally versus a form letter. Go BEER!

So, I've been reading up on eating things for higher protein again and I think we need to start keeping a few things in the house more. But other than that I just need to start parcelling out things so I up the protein. After we try some of the protein drinks we shall see what I can tolerate. But in a step in the right direction mel steamed up an entire package of chicken breast and portioned things out to the freezer and fridge and we bought tuna so I can have that. All good and steps in the right direction. No in a step in the wrong direction I hope to make carrot bread tonight in a bundt to take to work. Course I only had a very small piece of the lemon yesterday so eh. All things in moderation before lunch.
